I guess it is time for me to make my blog post about one of
my favorite video games of all time, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I have over 450 hours of gameplay time on
that game and seriously considered getting a Skyrim tattoo and almost got STRMCLK put on my license plate. I have not been able to play for a rather
long time due to work and school. It
consumed so much of my life that I was afraid to bring my Xbox 360 to college
in fear that I would do nothing else but play it. Skyrim is an action role-playing game done by
Bethesda.
I’ll explain the gist of the
game for those of who are living under a rock (which is probably none of you
people here). The main point of the game
is to defeat the dragon, Alduin. Alduin
is supposedly going to destroy the world and you find out that you are the Dragonborn
so you have the ability to defeat him.
In the game you get to go on an intense amount of side quests, meet an incredible
amount of players, explore a very in depth world, and fight off various
enemies. The amount of customization in
this game is unbelievable and the graphics make me want to jump into the game. There is such an intense amount of detail
that Bethesda put into this game it is unreal.
For example, you can collect books and read them and there are tons of
them. Also, as far as customizing the
look of your character goes, I spent over 2 hours creating my character before
I even started playing because there are so many different options. This game allows you to make your own decisions
on who you want to be and that is one of the greatest joys of the game for
me.
I feel like I would be a different
person today without playing this game.
Here, this woman gives me the chills. You’re welcome.
