Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas are my other two all time
favorite video games. I have over 400
hours on each of these games. I haven’t
played them in years it seems, but these games actually changed my life.
I cannot express my love for post-apocalyptic
games and these games went above and beyond when it comes to that. I feel like I did prefer Fallout 3 over
Fallout New Vegas but I still love them both.
I honestly would not be the person I am now without playing these video
games.
These games are also by
Bethesda. Fallout 3 came out on October
28, 2008 and Fallout New Vegas came out on October 19, 2010.
I feel like as far as game structure goes
Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas are a lot like Skyrim. The worlds are huge, you have countless
customization features that are very similar to Skyrim, you have the ability to make your own decisions in the game, and you have an unreal
amount of side quests you can do.
One of
the coolest features about Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas though is VATS. VATS for me was absolutely amazing since my
aim is not always super fabulous. VATS
is where you could focus your weapon on an enemy or a potential enemy (Or
anyone really, except for children -_-) and you could see what the percent
chance of you hitting that body part.
The
one thing I missed in Fallout New Vegas was being able to butcher apart the
bodies like you could in Fallout 3 and carry around the body parts, hitting
random people with them (“She’s so morbid!”
Oh shut up, you know we all did it).
I would love to replay these games!
Also, Tobuscus makes me giggle. :3
