Star Wars and the Gospel as Fantasy

Remember a while back when we did the Gospel as Fantasy? Well, shortly after that, I discovered something...Star Wars is a reflection of the fantasy in the Gospel.  It's a magical tale with a hero, villain, and wise men.  Luke and Anakin both represent a portion of a messiah (minus the dark side thing) and Anakin likens to a fallen angel, whereas Palpatine is the devil.  Obi-wan is like Solomon or various prophets and teachers in the Bible.  It obvious to me that Lucas stole elements from the Bible for his story......and besides it's the greatest story ever told, who wouldn't want to steal from it?!

  1. Is it stealing, or is the story of good and evil ingrained in us as creations of God, and children of Adam and Eve? (:
