HALO

I have never really played a lot of video games, but I certainly know a bit about their storylines, and about Halo in particular.  The storyline of the Halo is actually fascinating to me because the majority of the plot is pulled from the Bible.  In fact Halo 2 is based entirely off of a few passages in the Book of Daniel.  When one Covenant leader turns against the others and ends up screwing himself over because the others band together and destroy him....yeah that's just like the prediction Daniel made about the Greek king conquering the Persians.  Of course that king was none other than Alexander the Great, but that's another matter.  The video game also parallels Jesus to the most memorable and important character to the franchise....Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy John-117 (or just Master Chief).  It is interesting to note that 1 John 1:7, John 1:17, and John 1:7 all directly mention Jesus, and franchise based their Believe commercial campaign off of the latter verse (through him all might believe).  It could just be a coincidence, or it could be a real thing, but let's not forget that Bungie is obsessed with the number 7.  Anyway, some of the coolest storylines have come out of video games, so I say keep making 'em!
