I don’t care how far I’m going back, I want to address this
topic, damn it.
Video games, children, and violence.
Do I think that the video games are the cause of violence in
children? Hell no. Do I believe that there are people that can’t
handle certain video games because they are mentally unstable? Hell yes.
Parents, do not go pointing your fingers at video game
companies, movie companies, etc. to blame them for your kid acting
violent. Learn how to control your own
kid and discipline them. Do not blame
everyone else for your crappy parenting skills.
Furthermore, if you are so worried about it, why don’t you pay closer
attention to what your kid is watching/playing?
There’s an idea for you. There is
a difference between a child playing a video games (especially if they are
playing a game specifically rated for their age) and someone that is mentally
unstable playing a video game that is violent.
It is the parents job to teach their children what is reality and what
is fantasy. Someone who has psychological
issues may not realize the difference and go shooting up a movie theater
dressed the Joker.
PREACH IT SISTA.
