Survival Horror

Today one of the presenters talked about Horror games and why we get scared. i dont know if its just the way i think about life but why would you get scared playing a video game. Me myself do not like to play these types of games because i find them boring because i feel like its purpose is to scare me but they never do. when playing a game i know that there are things out there that i have to avoid or kill. so when i see them i run or shoot. i play call of duty and when your running around people jump out of no where and you dont jump you kill them so why jump when someone else jumps out at you in one of these games. They seem to me to drawn out. it might just be that i only play games to beat them and not try to be in the game like it is real life. i think this is why video games can hurt some people mentally because they try to be in the game and start thinking there in it. I just think that its pointless to be scared by something that is in a game that isn't real.
