Total Eclipse of LeakyCon?

Total eclipse of the heart has a strong meaning for me. That song is the last song played at the Esther Earl Rocking Charity Ball at LeakyCon every year. It will usually be played multiple times as well. I associate the song with Leaky, so I associate it with friends. I don't think about the music video when I hear that song, I remember friends that I only get to see once a year.

LeakyCon, now GeekyCon is a giant nerd conference. It started off as a harry potter convention, but eventually grew into other things. It is my favorite thing I do all year, mostly because I've made so many amazing friends there. The impact of media on everyone there is amazing. We all love things so much, that we will go out and build cosplays, memorize entire backstories, or even draw things. LeakyCon inspires me to be creative, and gives me ideas for things that might be difficult for some people to understand, but for all these unapologetic nerds, it makes perfect sense.

The song is played in honor of Esther Earl. She attended LeakyCon 2009 in boston. It was there she met John Green and Cattitude. She ended up being the inspiration for The Fault in Our Stars. It was the last song played in 2009, and it will continue to be the last song for the foreseeable future.
