After
watching all of those Pixar Shorts today in class, it made me realize that the
staff at Pixar really practices what it preaches. The article and reading guide
stated that for Pixar, story telling is more important than the story. I can
definitely see this represented well in Luxor Jr. This is the basic story of a
paternal relationship between two personalities. However, Pixar told the story through the lens of these
two personalities being lamps. In my opinion, Pixar’s storytelling ability is
what makes them successful.
