Who are you?

If you don't know me by now, I'm the kid that wears the weird halloween shirts. I love horror movies and it's my passion. There is something amazing about a killer that can enter dreams or a child's doll that comes alive and attacks people. One of my favorite movies of all time is John Carpenter's The Thing. This movie is about an unknown alien that enters a small science base in the Arctic. The alien is a shapeshifter so the whole movie is based on paranoia. You don't know who the alien is and it's brilliant! What is great about this movie is that all of the effects in the film are done by hand. All of them are made from rubber and latex instead of them being made from a computer.

Practical effects are one of my biggest passions. I love using makeup to make it look like my hand is falling apart or making someone's face looked charred and burned. This is art and I love it. Who say's you can worship God while also making someone dissolve in a puddle of acid or someone getting slashed apart?
