Blake "Blaké " Eiten

 

Hello all. My name is Blake Eiten, from the mystical land of Chicago. I was born in Ithaca, New York but moved to the Western Suburbs when I was five. I am double majoring in Computer science and Animation. I am a big fan of the incorporation of CGI in traditional cel animation. I feel that traditional cel animation, when done right, can be more expressive and more energetic.

 3D animation, in my opinion, is better at creating depth, scope, and anything that is larger than life.

The synergy of these two elements creates something truly special.

I decided to major both in Computer Science and Animation to learn more about the best of both worlds.
Anyways, some of my favorite animated movies are Spirited Away, The Iron Giant, and Metropolis.  Some of my favorite cartoons are Avatar, The Legend of Korra, and Cybersix.
I hope to learn a lot from Huntington and the people I meet.
