"Intro to DMA * Post"

Everybody!!!! I'm Travis Gordon.

I am an animation and computer science double major with the intent of one day designing video games. My stomping grounds consist of a small town about an hour north of Huntington; known as Kendallville, Indiana. I started off my life in North Side Elementary; I then graduated to Kendallville Middle School, which later integrated with various other middle schools to become East Noble Middle School; and I finished off my days at East Noble High School. I started vocational training during my junior year of high school, and that is where I learned the basics of the adobe cs6 suite, pro tools, cinema 4d, and various other programs.
My desire for animation came from my father's integration with my life. I say this because I was raised on Twisted Metal. This game created a spark in my childhood, and the embers have known grown into a wild blaze. I am still not entirely sure which direction I will go, but as long as I am doing something in the video game field I will be happy.

I have a double major with computer science because I have always been intrigued by coding and by binary as a language. The Matrix just seemed to drop the cherry on top by creating the image above. I had never actually been truly inspired and interested by anything in such a way as this affected me. I just thought of this as if I were Lawnmower Man, a character in a movie you should all watch if you have not already. If I could learn how to create the strands of the essence of a program, then the possibilities of applying that to deign and characters would be endless. So, I am a double major.
To end off this first blog, I am going to provide you all with a link to what I think to be one of the greatest pieces of artistry of the modern age.... Maginificent
