Call me what you will, but when I was a kid I loved the Gungans vs Droids battle in Episode I. Then, I loved the Clones even more in Episode II. Forgive me from like something from the so called forgettable trilogy, but big battle scenes are my thing. I have a sense, though, that next years installment will go back to the gorilla warfare of the classic trilogy. Nonetheless it's still something to be excited about. Like, there's another black guy in the galaxy! What does that make, 3? Seriously though, to the people who freaked out about a black guy in a storm troopers outfit are idiots....
Any who, Star Wars has been a worldwide phenomenon since it's incarnation. I really liked that clip played today about the origins of where George Lucas got the ideas. I mean, just think, the force could have really been come up with by a guy who was lit out his mind. A lot of what fans have come up with in regards to their favorite film universes is perty AWEsome. I mentioned this in my video games posts, but fan made creations or fan fiction is great way to expand the original worlds and I know in the case of Star Wars some has even become cannon.
Am I excited for Episode VII? Uhm, of course! Not as excited as I am for Avengers: Age of Ultron though. Ultron was the droid I was looking for.
