Spyro!

I am going to take a walk down nostalgia lane and bring up Spyro the Dragon which came out in 1998.  Spyro the Dragon was the very first PlayStation One game that I ever played.  I remember how I was in absolute aw while playing this game (Even though I hid behind my something, terrified, when I saw the piranhas jumping out from the waters.  I was five, give me a break.).  Spyro and his little dragonfly friend Sparx going on this mission to save his fellow dragon friends and defeat his enemies.  

This game is of course of my favorites simply because it was an outstanding game, especially for its time.  The graphics were really good for back then and the video game received a lot of praise for that.  

Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage! that came out in 1999 was a great follow up from the first game.  It brought in a new story line but still kept the Spyro that we had come to know and love (Unlike now where Spyro looks like he is on steroids and meth at the same time…).
