Interstellar.

This past month I had the opportunity to see Interstellar in IMAX with about 16 other people from campus. Boy! Was it a ride! Just from seeing the first shot in IMAX you that you are in for something amazing. The story is easy to follow, unlike some of Christopher Nolan’s films. The characters are real and relatable, in particular Matthew Mcconaughey’s character. A caring, loving father.

SPOILER Alert!!!The film is heart retching at times. The moment that was most powerful for me was when he returned from the water planet, realizing that because of difference in time, he had been gone 23 years. Upon returning to the ship he watches 23 years’ worth of messages from his children, watching them grow up before his eyes. You can only imagine the sadness that he must have felt witnessing this.
