Futurama

I had to take a moment to talk about Futurama. Kind of funny to slap it in here as we've never really talked about anything remotely close to it lol.

I avoided Futurama for the longest time, but never out of a despise for the show, more like I didn't see the point in watching it, much like I avoided Simpsons and Family Guy. But recently I decided to start watching it and I absolutely love it. It's fun, the characters are entertaining, and the show all in all is just an enjoyable adventure.

The animation of Futurama is interesting too, it's done with traditional animation primarily, and for the more complex shots like spaceship movement they use a CGI style while still using a rendering that looks cartoony, even if you can still tell that it's CGI. 

Futurama has been a fun discovery, and kind of one of those shows I can more fully appreciate as an adult, well…"adult", and didn't quite understand or enjoy when I was younger. It keeps me going on to the next episode, the next adventure, to follow the characters and their stories.
