This is the fictional retelling of the story behind the story of Peter Pan. By filming the movie from the perspective of J.M. Barrie the use of imaginative artistic scenes gets into the writer’s head and adds a beautiful artistic spin on an otherwise dry story set in britain. The drama evokes an emotional response, but the beautiful spinning scenes and landscapes that they seem to pull straight from JM Barrie’s own head add a wonderful texture to the film. He connects with a woman and her children through his stories, inspiring a young writer and finding something of a new love, while tearing apart his own marriage, sadly. The story is being taken on Broadway soon so thats cool.
