Episodes 1-3 are Bad Fanfics

I hate George Lucas.  (Que enraged mobs carrying pitchforks, torches, barrels of tar and feathers, and chainsaws)
I HAVE LEGITMATE REASONS!
Exhibit A:

Exhibit B:

There are many more reasons but I won't delve into more photographic evidence to pain your already sleep deprived Finals Week laden eyeballs.  I've done quite a bit of research about George Lucas and have come to the conclusion that the guy has REALLY BAD ideas.  (Just look at episodes 1-3)  It's so bad that people have, with the release of the new teaser trailer, begun to parody George Lucas with terrifying accuracy.  Just watch.

I'm also of the opinion that the real genius behind the original trilogy was NOT George Lucas either!  Lucas originally wanted Chewbacca to be some kind of fish monster and for Luke Skywalker to be a 50 year old man with a robot head.  What the ever living crap is that about?!  It's only through the interjection of his surrounding crew and cast that Star Wars was able to be made into something WORTH watching.  The Empire Strikes Back, is arguably one of the greatest Sci Fi movies ever made and the best Star Wars movie to date.  Why might you ask?  Because Lucas didn't direct it that's why! When left to his own devices Lucas gave us... Trade Negotiations...  (Just typing that makes me want to throw up)

Want to know everything wrong with episodes 1-3?  I dare you to watch these and tell me afterwards that Lucas' unholy trilogy is anything less than sarlac pit refuse.

  1. I think you would like Voltaire's monologue "Lucas is a Noodler." It's all about how George Lucas put in scenes that shouldn't have been in the movies and took out scenes that should have been. Not that I would know, but you might want to check it out. It's kind of funny.

At least... if you equate Episodes 1-3 to bad fanfictions, you can find something horribly enjoyable about them? I usually SEEK OUT bad fanfiction when I need a good laugh. But then... I do also risk getting a migraine doing that, so maybe it's not such a good idea.
