Broadcast and its Effects

Film and broadcasting may have a bad history together, but broadcasting can play a major role in digital media arts as shown to us by our own broadcasting senior among us. Broadcasting has an extensive history the same as film has a strong and fluid history among the artists in the industry. Tracing its roots back to early news reporting finally culminating at the premiere of radio, broadcasting began to pave its own way into society becoming a powerfully influential source.

Some key broadcasting media outlets include radio, news, television, web news, podcasts, and social media. All of these can have a lasting impact on society and can be highly influential. Some would say to the point where it is quite dangerous that broadcasting have that much power. So with that broadcasters have a major responsibility to uphold and make sure that as a broadcaster they adhere to moral and social codes.

Film is very much the same way. We must be responsible with the power we hold.
