Birdman

One of the more obscure movies of this year is probably my all time favorite movie: Birdman. The plot of Birdman is about a washed up actor who was an iconic superhero in movies, must overcome his ego and the troubles of his family as he tries to create a Broadway play to reclaim his past glory. The plot is a little weird but the movie was amazing. It is made to look as though it were all shot in one continuous take. Not only is the plot and camera work wonderful, so is the music. The music sounds like it is taken from the jazz players that play on the streets of New York. This movie also has a great cast with actors such as Michael Keaton, Emma Stone, Zack Galifianakis, Naomi Watts, and finally Edward Norton. This movie is amazing for all these reasons but the real reason why I love it is because of my huge obsession

with Broadway.
