A lot of cool - and weird - music videos today. I wouldn't have guessed they could make a "music video" back in - what was it? - 1894? That was pretty cool. The music video from the early 1900s with the pig honestly wasn't too different from most music videos today - (I hadn't a clue what it was about or what it was trying to say, if anything.) Because I'm really into stop-motion, I enjoyed the look and animation of "The Devil Went Down to Georgia". The puppets during the part where the devil is playing his music were especially well-done and I loved the mood lighting to set the dark tone of that scene. The literal version of Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart" was nothing short of hilarious and, believe it or not, I hadn't seen it before. Don't know how I possibly could have missed it. I've seen "Take On Me" a gazillion times because even though it's pretty cheesy, I love the combination of live action and animation. But I have to say that the last one ("I Won't Let You Down" by OK Go) was my favorite. The use of the drone camera to capture far-away footage of the umbrella movements was incredible. I couldn't believe that no special effects or cheats were used. Towards the end you can see a car going up the road to the left of the scene, which is really nice because it kind of helps set the size-ratio and speed of the camera and other things. Of course there were many other videos, but those ones in particular I thought were pretty neat.
