I love this movie because it took one of my favorite childhood stories and made it fun to watch as an adult. I adore the creator of this story, from the idea behind the jabberwocky and the bandersnatch, to the twins and Absalom, it is just perfect. So, top marks to Lewis Caroll.
Now, the script might have not been phenomenal, but it does contain some of my favorite quotes of all time.
“Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to."
"I don't much care where –"
"Then it doesn't matter which way you go.”
I love this one especially and I use it frequently. It always helps to remind me that no matter how many times I may ask for guidance, it doesn't matter. In the end we will end up where we will so we might as well strive to clear our own path.
