The World Wide Broadcast

Professor Babb spoke the other day about social media, and with that he covered the good and the bad side to the topic. I just feel obligated to echo his speech because I was so affected by it. Of years past I used to use social media to be funny, well I still do, but it wasn't considerate humor. I would find offensive things or degrading things and post them to get a few cheap laughs at the expense of others. However, I am seriously trying to clean up my past and I had nearly forgot about social media until he spoke about it. As young adults few of the people of our generation heed the warnings about Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, and they rarely consider the consequences.
Now, I will probably still try to brighten the lives of others with humor, but I will definitly be more mindful of the content. I don't ever want to risk anything that could be considered in ill taste again, even if it is funny to some.  I personally have fallen down the wrong track with this topic and I just urge all of you to be mindful of what you do online. It is written in ink and it can be very hard to erase.

Here are some of my favorites.....
