Sand Art and Glass Art

I have seen the sand art animations before and I really enjoy watching how amazing artists can work with it. There is no way I could ever be so majestic with sand art or glass art for that matter. In the glass art, the ink that never dries amazes me. I always wondered how exactly they did it without smearing the ink and now I know. I think that any artists that works with these mediums has to be both very creative as well as patient. I think it would be really hard and challenging to be able to control ink or sand and make every character exactly the same as the last picture. This is basically a form of short stop motion animation. A lot of time would definitely need to be put into these. I make a short stop motion animation once back in high school last year and man was it very time consuming!! I definitely need to work on those skills, but that needs so much time that I do not have a lot of.

  1. It's really quite something...it has the appearance of hand-drawn, but it's really stop-motion. So much time and work involved for sure.
