The LunchBox

The LunchBox is about a man who receives the wrong lunch one day and then meets a woman through letters that they write to each other.  Throughout the movie we get to know the characters and what their lives have been like for many years, and learn how they've been going through the same routine without any change. I think that the lunchbox was ment to go to the wrong person so they could discover what they want in life and talk to someone who might understand and care about them. The movie also shows how women aren't really important in that culture, but to this man knew she ment something to him by receiving and replying back to her letters and worrying about her when he heard a woman jumped off the roof with her daughter. This relationship they formed has made them stronger and look at themselves with new eyes and see things remember things that they probably haven't thought about in years. It was interesting seeing them change and sharing memories.  One of the things that I saw was that sometimes we get into a routine and don't see our notice the things around us until we think about what or lives have been like. They notice how we blend in with everyday life, try to make things work, and sometimes life happens. I guess the only way to discover that is to try something different and see the truth of our lives and see them the way they are.
