Little Dog Turpie

The art in Little Dog Turpie was not something that would normally garnish my attention. I did like, though, the re-imagining of the story of the Boy Who Cried Wolf. I remember seeing said fable in many iterations growing up. This time I thought it was interesting having the dog being the one who "cried wolf". My dogs bark every time someone comes through the back door. Although idiots, they're just trying to protect their family. Same way in this scenario, but there is an actual threat.

The best part was probably at the end when the woman chopped up the man and put him in place of the dog. To me, this just personifies that the man should always at least listen to the woman once. I mean if he would have gone out and checked the perimeter then there wouldn't have been a problem later on. Same way when a wife asks the man to take the trash out or whatever. If we do it the first time then they shouldn't be any consequential nagging. Although, most guys don't do it the first time. If ya try to tell me something while I'm watching sports then it's just gonna go in on ear and out the other.
