Fairytales: Why I Love Them.
I loved today's class and the talk about fairytales. I grew up reading fairytales and watching movies based on or inspired by them. When I was little I believed that we were all living our own fairytale, and I still do. I would like to think that we are all miniature fairytales in a greater one, the Bible. Fairytales tell us the transformation of a character whether it be physical, spiritual, or both like the Beast in Beauty and the Beast. We also go through a spiritual transformation when we accept the Lord to be part of our lives and we change for the better. Fairytale can also be about anything and everything that we think of our see in the figment of our imagination, sometimes we just need a way to bring it out and show it to others so that we may inspire there stories that are just song to come out. I thought that the film 'A Man Bought a House on a Hill ' was very interesting and awkward when a man hated a rat, a rat liked the man, and in the end they get married and live together for the rest of their days. If that happened in today's world I would think that they would be in a weird situation. Fairytales is a wonderful way to let our minds travel to different world and meet characters without actually putting ourselves in danger.
