Drawing Jesus, how I feel about it.

Today we looked at allot of art, many of them were various pictures of Jesus, and some other things that were very well done. Personally I had always been afraid of depicting God, or Jesus. I was never told not to draw God, because nobody can capture the beauty, the thought was already in my head in a way. I thought drawing God is reserved for the artists with great talent, the ones who people see in galleries and such. About a year ago I just started drawing an owl (cause their cool) and it turned into this.

I realized after about halfway through I was drawing God, and I found I wasn’t worried that I was depicting him in this way. He was not upset with my inability to get the full force of his glory, but happy with my acknowledgement of him. So I placed myself on a branch next to him drawing him poorly, but with love. Later on he is still slipping into my pictures without my knowing it, and honestly it’s amazing to he would be willing. the best times are when it's unintentional, don't know why, so I just go with it.

Other times he's popped in
Ghostie on the right

 Butterfly thing on the right

 Ghostie on the right again

He always seems to be right by my side.
