The Power of Meaning in Music

Ok so coming into the Christmas season we start to just sink into  in all of the music and Hallmark movies, and to be very honest it makes me sick after a while. I have heard the same song over and over everyday for weeks straight and the same movies as well just over and over again. I am already kinda sick of all of the corny stuff you see this time of year. Now I will admit that their is there are plenty of quality meaning in it, but just the way they go about it, sometimes it gets a little much. I have been searching for songs especially that have a different meaning. I find a lot of this in country Christmas music.
