Silver Linings Playbook

Over the break I got the chance to watch Silver Linings Playbook, and I finally understood why Jennifer Lawrence got the Oscar for it.  Not only did she play a crazy person, but she played it extremely well.  She was able to act normal one moment and completely snap the next, throwing dishes and whatnot everywhere; obviously she did her research.  But it wasn't just that, it was her facial expression and her eye movement that got to me.  Whenever I watch a movie, I always want the actors to have 'looks' that capture your focus and convey understanding and meaning to the audience without speaking, and she did that time and again throughout the movie.  I'm starting to become a Jennifer Lawrence fan, and this movie is definitely worth the watch.....it also has Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro in it too, so more reasons to watch it!  And the screenplay and cinematography were top notch. 'Nough said.
