Coach Carter

This is my favorite movie by far. I absolutely love every single aspect of what this movie stands for. It stands for peace, justice, and equality. Coach Carter is about a ghetto, inner-city high school basketball team that is flat out horrible. They get a new coach who used to be an All-state player while attending that high school. Coach Carter is his name. He plans not only to turn the basketball program around, but he also plans to turn the lives of his players around.

The players are very selfish and also do not live in the best place on the block. Coach Carter plans to keep these boys out of trouble while on the streets but also in the classroom. Coach Carter tries to make these bouts excel in everything they do so that they can make it in life. He tries to do all of this while in basketball season. The results get better but they may not be enough when Coach Carter gets nearly fired. This movie is a fantastic movie and it will teach anyone a lesson about life.
