Hey, I Know That Voice!

"I know that voice" is what I said throughout this whole documentary. If you are an animation major, or love cartoons, you should really watch this documentary. It is about the voice actors behind our favorite cartoons. Like all of them. I've always appreciated voice actors as much as actors in live action film and theatre, but this really opened my eyes into their world and profession.

This film really captures what it is like to be the voice behind a character (and its really cool to see the actor do the voice) John DiMaggio who voices Jake on Adventure Time and Bender on Futurama is the creator and main focus of this film. Its really cool that he is the focus because I love both of those shows so much.

They interview so many actors and actresses from almost all the cartoons I, and most of us, grew up with. I don't think you ever notice how many voices people do for just one show sometimes. Or how many girls voiced boys in the cartoons we watch. Its such a cool thing to see.
