Documentaries

I'm pretty fickle about documentaries. They are pretty much never my first choice when looking for something to watch. I'm really not that huge a fan of documentaries, it takes something really interesting for me to really enjoy them. It's just me, I just love feature films. I've also seen some documentaries that try to break the rules, or try new styles, and they really just don't work for me. On that note, I'm going to say that the CG documentary we watched, Ryan, did not work for me at all. I get what it was trying to do and express, but, boy, did it just weird me out. I couldn't connect to Ryan or the director and I couldn't get into the story.

There are some documentaries I like though; I enjoy the ones on music artists and ones about films. I guess those might be more of behind the scenes, but there are some long ones I count as documentaries. Also, I found a 3-part PBS documentary on superheroes and the comic book industry on Netflix, and that was well worth the watch. Yes, I know I know, I'm bringing up superheroes again. I don't even care. It was really good. I loved hearing about the history of comics.
