Over the past few days I haven’t been able to get out of my
head the idea of us saying that we own the crucifixion instead of sharing it
with everyone. When leeper talked about this it really opened my eyes to the
way us as Christian really act. We are supposed to go out and share the word of
god with people not get offended when some starts to talk about if Christians
own the cross. As I have gone about my business on this campus there has been
maybe twice in the last week that someone has tried to share the word with me
or get to know me more. But when I try to talk to them or just over hear them
talking the cross people get offended and start to state stuff from the bible
to make themselves look like they know and give everything for God. In chapel
on Wednesday one guy that talked about how we were ether puddle or lake people.
We were only there to share the story every once in a while when they are asked
about it. Then there are lake people that are always sharing the word and
living Godly. This world is filled with puddle people that only do what is
expected of them like go to church and pray but behind the curtain don’t act
godly. They are a bunch of hypocrites. I may not be perfect but I know that I
want to be a lake person so I will not put on a mask and act like someone I’m
not for those situations where I’m expected to be a man of god. This world
needs more real people in it. I hope you understand what i'm trying to say here.
More people need to live every second of there life in a way to glorify god or
don’t. don’t try to put on a mask and do what others what you to do then when
there not looking do things that don’t glorify him.
Great way to connect what we talked about in this class to another lesson on campus. That's really cool that you connected the two.
