The winning video was nothing less than incredible.
The reason I'm choosing to talk about this is because it's an animation. It's incredibly done, and perfectly fits the song. I think that most people would say that it would be inappropriate for children to see, but I for one would gladly show it to children, should they wish to see it.
It is pretty dark. But dark is good sometimes. Children need to see dark every now and then. After all, if they're sheltered from seeing dark things their whole childhoods, how will they be able to handle it when they're older.
I think this video (and the song) teach a valuable lesson about government and tyranny. I'm not going to talk to much about it's contents though because if someone wants to watch it, they should experience it without being hindered by my spoilers.
I highly recommend checking out this video. It is truly amazing and very artistic.
Dark can definitely be good at times. If I were to write something for children, it would probably have dark edges to it. It's just more fun and a little bit more beautiful to me. That may sound weird, but seriously, I can't watch happy films all the time.
