On Tuesday we watch several fairy tale films that were quite interesting.
I wan't very pleased with the idea of looking at the Gospel as a fairy tale. Because well, fairy tales are make believe stories. And by golly the gospel isn't a fairy tale! It's real damnit!!

But that's not the way we're looking at it through the lens of fairy tale. Rather, we're looking at fairy tale through the lens of the Gospel. At least that's what I got out of it.
See the Gospel is truly the original fairy tale. People are born with the story of the Bible written on their soul. They cant help but write fairy tales that are based on it. Every story, no matter what genre, is reflected in the Bible.

Some times though.. at first it's a little hard to find. for example: How in the world does this film relate to the story of the Bible?

I know that it does reflect the Bible. In a funny way, it describes the confusing thing we call love. And isn't God love? God created love, he IS love, and without him, love can't exist. This is what I got out of the films on Tuesday.
That animation happened to be my favorite too.
