Hello everyone! My name is Savannah Olson and I am a freshman animation major!

I am from the unique town of Elkhart, Indiana and graduated from Concord High School. I am 18 years old and will be turning 19 in April.

I got into animation from watching and loving Disney movies my whole life. I hope to work for Disney one day to make movies that will change peoples lives and bring joy like we all know Disney does. I also hope to change certain things there that wouldn't dare to be done now. I'm not the best drawer but I hope to gain good skills while here at Huntington. Personally I am more interested in the audio parts for movies, whether it being music or sound effects. I also like coming up with story lines and concepts.

As I said earlier, I love Disney with all my heart, but I enjoy many other movies and T.V shows as well, many of which are cartoons. But, I also love shows like HIMYM, Pretty Little Liars (yes, it is a good show and I'm not a white girl for liking it), Glee, Sherlock, Futurama, and many more. I love most genres of movies except for westerns... I don't know why. And if I ever had a chance to be in a movie I would want it to be a Marvel film.

Music is one of my passions and I love love love listening to film scores and musicals. I play the baritone, trombone, and on occasion, trumpet. I also love to sing. A lot. So if you ever want to play Disney karaoke hit me up. I listen to all types of music and am open to listening to anything.

Fun fact: I was in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade last year and marched right by Jimmy Fallon and Sesame Street so that was pretty cool.
