Hey :)

My name is James Ehle. I am a freshman, and I am planning to major in Film Production and minor in Journalism. I'm very excited to meet some new people, make some really interesting projects, and learn some very interesting information. My favorite film genre is horror, but I love films from all different genres. I love watching thunderstorms, but I am a little paranoid of being outside when there's lightning. I despise spiders. My favorite film is "Grease", because I grew up watching that movie, I know it's not what most would consider the best pick for a film major, but I'm being honest. I love making new friends and having fun. I was involved with journalism during all four years of high school, and was on the newspaper for three of those years. I was in show choir during my junior and senior years. My school did not have any type of film program, so I have taught myself everything I know from books, youtube and other online help. I got interested in film after doing several class video projects that both my teachers and classmates enjoyed. For my sixteenth birthday, instead of having a party like most of my friends, I decided I wanted to try to write, direct and produce a feature film... and I thought I could do it all in one twelve-hour day! I was incredibly wrong. The film, "Come Out and Play" was completed almost 2 months later, and was a great learning experience. Mainly due to time constrictions and the availability of the actors (friends, family, and community), we were forced to cut many scenes and improvise some others. I wouldn't have any high expectations when watching it, but here is the link to that if you'd like to watch it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WMTsdsy1_g&list=UUJriV4dbJgto1KbI5BL6i_g

Sorry if I rambled on, hopefully this helps you get to know me a little though! :)
